Maekon is built around three privacy tiers, opt-in telemetry, and an audit log of every automation action. The defaults are private; opt-ins are explicit.

Telemetry control
All telemetry is off by default. Opt-in toggles are exposed in Settings; data scope is documented per signal.
PII filter
Screen captures pass through a four-level PII filter before any optional sync. Phone numbers, API keys, IPs, emails, and credit cards are masked on-device.
GDPR consent ledger
Every consent decision is recorded with timestamp, scope, and version. You can revoke and request deletion at any time.
Auditable automation
Every automation action runs through a policy gate and lands in a tamper-evident local audit log. Logs never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.
